What is your feeling on the webcast?

Hey all,
What has been your feeling thus far on the live video feed from HB that the USPL set up this year?

To be honest I am a bit disappointed. My main gripe is that there didnt seem to be an overview camera, or a camera that was getting the entire field. The viewing angles seemed too zoomed in and focused and I felt as though I could never really get a feel for who was battling with who, and who was left.

To make matters even worse, the live commentary by the players gets old pretty quickly too. Not the fault of the players, as it is very hard to keep an audience interested when you are just doing commentary all day. The reason this is such an issue for me is because the the lousy viewing angles require the viewer to keep the sound on in order to know what is going on in the game, which becomes annoying quickly. With the sound off, I found that I rarely had much of an idea of what was going on on the rest of the field.

A scoreboard would be really nice too, but we can only ask for so much.

So what do you guys think? Did anyone even bite the bullet and pay the small charge to view some paintball this weekend?

No I didn't feel like it was worth it to pay for the amount of time I would actually watch. 7 man is usually boring to watch in the first place. I wouldn't mind watching the finals and what-not but I play on Sundays so whatever.

I am happy to pay to watch whatever league and whatever quality. I think it is all better than nothing. I think it can be improved, but I will pay and watch whatever is available. I'm over 50 years old and watch whatever interests me. I don't care about any of the politics that effects the decisions of many in the paintball community.
