Hey guys,

so I've been working on some sponsors and just getting some paper work done, but I'm home in Seattle for the weekend, so not much updates. Mike, any further info on affiliation? (mainly the department)

Yeah, everyone spread the word that CU has a Paintball Club and let em know about a meeting either the last week of Oct or first week of Nov!

John, nothing new here. I hurt my knee and didnt make it out to a field this weekend to talk sponsorship/student discounts. And I havent contacted any department in particular about signing the form. I don't know any department heads but I think there's a few we can discuss and contact.

After looking over some schedule conflicts, everything in the timeline will have to be pushed back one week.

This is due to 2 major things.
1- we're still trying to figure out the affiliation with the school/department so we need some more time there.
2- the meeting i was originally planning for this week on Thursday for the potential board members will have to be rescheduled. I forgot I have an ochem midterm that evening at 7

Just noticed this thread while searching around for a CU paintball team, I'd be very interested in helping get this going. I'm a freshman at CU this year, long time paintballer.

I'll be out at Blitz this weekend to test out my new G6R timmy, in case anyone else is going to be there let me know so we can meet up! Would love to get to know some more CU paintballers.

The club will officially be back open on Monday as an INDEPENDENT group, if we can later find a department willing to affiliate us, we will change to an affiliation.

Keep your eyes peeled in the UMC/On Campus within the next 1-2 weeks for flyers about our first meeting.

Also, try to check pbnation, sadly its one of the best tools we have to communicate with interested members. At the first meeting we will get emails and such.

haha there's only one of my fraternity brothers that thinks he's the **** at paintball and he is, Mac Moriarty of Vicious (one of the original players, quit from Vicious right after world cup last year)

Hey guys I'm a freshman at CU from LA and use to ball a lot. I still have all my equipment other than a gun and a working loader. I know it's a big part but if anyone you know in Boulder is selling an Ego please pm me and I'll be more than happy to help out this soon-to-be team. thanks!

Also, if anyone has a decent gun I can borrow for this upcoming weekend I'll pay you to "rent" it. You can keep my driver's license or something else if you would like. PM me ASAP!

Hey, I'd love to go balling this weekend and I may be able to find you a gun ( I already have an extra geo with a rotor, tank, pants etc. but another friend has precedence on it lol), so if he cant come this weekend Ill let you know!

HOWEVER, I can't find a ride up to the field!!! If anyone has transportation from Boulder to Blitz PLEEEEASE let me know, myself and some friends have been dying for some paintball but have no way to the field
