what happens when you get shot carrying the flag? what should i do if that happens?

depends on the tourney. Most of the ones I've played in you just drop it and a ref will take care of it.

Normally, you drop it and walk off just as if you were eliminated. Then a ref will pick it up and place it on the nearest bunker, if possible.

At least that's what I've always seen. Of course it can vary between tournies.

the other thing that could happen, say you see the guy and he shoots you, stand still with the flag at arms length, your hit but saves him bending down... maybe im too nice. lol But Ive seen it before

Sometimes you drop it. Or you walk it to the side and you have to hold the flag.

Depends on game. Go over the rules or ask the ref

dont u have to hold the flag as if u are the new flag pole

depends on the tournie and if you want to be nice
i was in a pump tournie this morning and some people dropped the flag when they got shot and others held it for the opposing player to get it(a lot of gammes finished in 1on1's)

Hi all,


well it all depends on the tourney lets say 3 Vs 3 for ex...the games are worth 100 pts a game .The flag could be worth 35 pts and each person 5 pts and win the game is 50 pts for a toal of 100pts and dont forget you can only get that if you hold on to it for 10 to 15 seconds before you are eliminated and when you are killed you drop it where ever you are .Still receiving the points for having it. and if you lose the game the last man on the oppisite team gets it where ever the ref points too it and takes it back for there points . WHEW .......

it depends on the tourny and the refs on the field some wnat you to hold it others will say drop it and i have also seen them go and rehang it on the flag staion (the next person didnt get points for the pull fyi)
