NT10 vs. DM11 I'm really torn between the two

Hey Guys! Which one is better, more reliable and more efficient, and overall more worth it, the DM11 or the recent makes of the NT10 with all of the updated parts, please Reply!

DM11 has the advantage of having a built in Low Pressure Regulator (LPR) to which the NT does not.

You can fine tune your DM to shoot as smooth as possible and fragile paint.

Both run low pressure but an NT will break a ball once a while. There are a few tricks you can do to accomodate for this. DMs have been around for a long time and is a proven platform.

The NT is prob the smallest/tightest high end marker on the market though if that makes a difference on your decision.

My NT11 was a nightmare. You can expect to break paint more often than not with the NT. You can read through the NT section and see that this is an issue. Aside from breaking quality paint with the NT don't expect to shoot brittle paint with it at all.The feel of the NT in your hand is amazing I say the best feel to it of all the markers. Useless to shoot..You might get lucky with it but I'm not optimistic about the NT.

My DM8 never broke chopped a ball. Always had FSDO but it shot excellent if after that first shot.Although my DM12 came out of the box with issues and bad O-rings,I have replaced them all and readjusted pressures it shoots flawless and doesn't chop. You can expect the same from the DM11 if it's in tune and good condition.

I love my NT. But I dont recommend buying one unless you´re willing to deal around with possible issues.

If you want to air it up and be happy the dm is a better choice.

It´s been a long time since my NT has given me any headache, but I did spend a good amount of time understanding it. I give it regular maintenance(inspecting everything, cleaning and relubing) and it just shoot lasers sunday after sunday.

Yeah, once you get an NT set up right, they're nice. But after having had my NT10 for about a year now, and having no more issues with it, DM is definitely better other than weight.

Even the reruns of the NT10s still give troubles? And the DM11's dont cause any troubles?

Not so much troubles, but getting them tuned can take time.

DM's are a much more mature platform (the actual Matrix design has been around since 2002 when released by Generation-E) and so they rarely have fits anymore.

But NT will never be as smooth as a DM.

As far as lasting longer, with proper care, both will last for years.

Pro's trust whatever marker their sponsor tells them to shoot. Going by what pros shoot/say is like assuming that because the Chevy commercial says Chevy cars are the best, then they actually are. Pros are paid to say that "X marker is the best marker I've ever shot".

Oh okay thanks, which one would you buy and reasons why, if you could by a DM11 vs a rerun of the NT10?

Id get the NT 10, I love mine- if you know what your doing you can tune the NT so it shoots perfectly.

Id get it on the basis that it is hands down the comfiest gun on the market. Its smaller than the DMs and way tighter, and it feels amazing in your hands. Makes snap shooting and gun battling so much easier.
