Just wondering if anyone has done any custom work to their epic. I'm guessing not, because the epic is perfect just the way it is. That is one of the reasons why I love this gun, because it works perfect and doesn't need any upgrades.
Also, I think that one of the reasons why this forum is so dead is because the Epic is perfect the way it is. There isn't much to talk about.
Basically all I have done to my epic is buy an autococker barrel, tank, and a Ricochet 2K loader. I haven't done any custom work, and I don't think I ever will, but I'm wondering if anyone else has.
I ordered a new foregrip from Jim to shape to my preference. Not much else you can, or need to, do to the Epic. Except get it annodized but Jim recommends sending it in for a complete stripping prior to that. He had a sweet Jerry Garcia Psycoflage pattern that was a wild mix of green, blue, red and yellow when he first brought them to market.

I ordered a spare feedneck assy for my DV8, cut it down as low as possible, tapped it for Ion/Mini threads and installed a Custom Products lever lock feedneck. Holds the loaders much better than the factory set screw. Had the sharp edges milled off on the bottom a.s.a., above the grip frame, and on the trigger guard. Actually took off quite a bit of excess material on the a.s.a. is now more round. Had re-diamond coated. Have a new CP 14" barrel on it. Now it is close to perfect.
