They had their time. Its a great design STBB valve, and probably the best. Unfortunately they wont work in the new spyders with out a re design. I feel the 08 redesign was has more potential. Spyders are finally what we always wanted in just about every way. The newer valve is only a small extension of that. Simple design wins out with spyders.

You air up your marker, strap on the mask, and walk onto the field.. it doesn't matter that you failed that test, that your girlfriend broke up with you, or that you got a ticket on the way there... your world is right for the next couple hours,... this is your heaven on earth.. live it.. love it.. play it.. Paintball.

That would be personal preference. I shoot with my revvy and I'm perfectly fine with it.

I feel most paintball gear is overpriced, rotor is no exception. I got a pinokio loader for 89 dollars at ansgear and love its simplicity, feeds as fast as i can shoot and the extra 180 rnd nose cone is awesome for bigger games.

Exactly. A lot of paintball stuff is overpriced and really isn't needed especially with there being a new cap on paintball. I honestly never shoot over 12bps (also cap my markers) and I don't see a reason to. So having a loader that over a $100 in my gear bag is out of the question. My $20 loader that I bought about 7 years ago is still my number 1 and has never let me down

Yeah i think I'm going to stick to my vlocity I mean there might be a short or something in it because its on battery save mode and kills fresh duracells, also I was playing yesterday in the cold and have a few problems maybe someone can shed some light on? First off I was getting alot of barrel breaks using my 689 barrel and inks copper maybe its because the bore is so small and the balls were really fragile? I don't know it could also be my operating pressure was to high and killing the balls, also when I tried ramping I noticed the gun would click and shoot at the same time? Like it would ramp out like 20 balls and about half the bolt would actually shoot and the other 10 just clicked like there was no air or paint could it he this Kingman rechargeable battery is dead? Like to many charge cycles? Let me know what you think thanks

Well remember that when it's cold the tolerences of the barrel change so when you first started the .689 might have been fine at the moment, but later on when the barrel has had time to sit and cool up the bore will get smaller. You might have to step up to the .691 to compensate for the difference. Also keep in mind while the barrel bore has gotten smaller, the paintballs will also swell up a little.
Now the clicking issues sounds like you're running out of juice

He meant the power of the battery, not your air tank.
Meaning your battery is dying and not holding a charge for as long.

The vs1 is just any old spyder. The vs2 and 3 have balance valves. Vs3 has a rocking trigger.
The rs has a basic lp valve. The rsx has a balance valve and a tadao board. Both have upgrade regulators and on/off asa.
The new electra continued the rs valve and the fenix improve on it

Honestly if you get an opportunity to. I'd invest in a quality 9.6v battery. Those Kingman batteries aren't the greatest and get weak really fast.

Okay but the clicking and not shooting for sure sounds like a battery issue?

Okay so when I change my velocity does that effect my operating pressure? And vice versa? My velocity is at 250 can i lower my operating pressure to 200? Ever since i raised my velocity it seems to be shooting alot harder and I think thats why im getting barrel breaks

Lower operating pressures are softer on the paint. But the springs may be tensioned too high and thus causing chops.
