its not just the revving. i wouldnt mind them revving their engines if their ****ing exhaust wasnt so damn loud. thats i why i can deal with crotch rockets cuz they arent so damn loud that when ur sittin in ur room with the window open u cant even concentrate on the stuff your doing.

as for a quite nice exhaust greddy sp2 is nice. and also look for a twin loop muffler

The size of the tips determine the exhaust note at the end, The fatter/shorter the tip the more of a deeper tone you get, the longer skinnier tips make more of a higher pitched cackley sound. So does the diameter of the pipe you use and where the muffler is placed. Stupid diesel guys. What's the difference between a stock cummins and one with stacks. the sacks are a whole hell of a lot cooler, and f'ning loud. So

I've never had any tip determine what my exhaust note is. I've always had it be determined whether it had an X-pipe and that muffler or h-pipe and that muffler. 3" pipe here or 3.5" there all thw way to 5".

Stacks are so loud because there is no muffler or resonator. You can get the same effect without them. All you're doing is running the exhaust out the bed instead of the back.

I've been threw so many exhaust tips on my current trucks and not a one did a damn thing, except be shiny at the end.

Not only the crossover pipe and mufflers determine sound. placeing the mufflers 2 inches closer or farther from the crossover pipe can drastically change sound. Placement of cats in relation to mufflers change sound. Exhaust notes are determined by all parts of the exhuast, including pipe diameter and length, not just mufflers and a crossover pipe.
