yah, only way I would allow it is if they had family or family friends to stay with at night who could get them to and from the field throughout the weekend....even then I would have to know the kid in question and know how mature/responsible they are.

my parents never let me go to events like this alone when i was younger, but my parents are cool as **** and would get a hotel and i'd camp or meet up with friends at events
