I'm going to this internship and if I like being an engineer, I'm going to go back at it and maybe actually try. If I don't want to do it then I'm going to figure something else out.

I should have just got a job at the plant like my dad did and started making money. Everyone I know that's still in school ( myself included ) hates it. Do what you want though, don't let others make decisions for you.

That what I am telling all these kids today. If you are gonna go to school go for something that has good paying jobs. Business degrees, basic studies,etc you will never find a job that pays enough to make it worth you while. Just because you work in a plant or offshore doesn't make you stupid. You want money well you gotta work for it. No one is gonna go knock on your door and say you want a good paying job. You gotta go out and find it.

This man speaks words of wisdom....fancy dancy degrees are great in a growing economy but when the shi-t hits the fan we are the first to get fired...if i could do it over again i would have stuck out that civil engineering degree
