Lucky for you guys, Getting old sucks. The moment I decide to jump back into the swing of thing my appendix decides it wants out.

Doc said 6 to 8 weeks for stitches to heal so no strenuous activities and 50 lbs max in the lifting dept. which means working to a minimal

I'm guessing it wasn't done laparoscopically? My wife had her appendix out a few years ago and her healing time was half that.

It was but it was inflamed and 1 day away from bursting. They had to repair the tissue around my kidney and liver. Which in turn is adding to my heal time.
