Z2 shredding paint

Plain and simple....tunning poppit gun, using Z2....every 5-10 balls there was a break. Put on a old @$$ Tourque hopper and NO BREAKS....shot ROPES! This really made me sad. I did the 2 buttons at the same time calibration...just made the hopper spin really fast until i hit a button again. Please provide input etc before i sell this BRAND NEW hopper i got thats pretty much making my gun suck. Thanks guys

Make sure it was put together correctly, one of the sides could be out of alignment.

Also make sure the sensor in the raceway is clean too.

It is together the only way it will go. The thing is brand new so nothing is dirty. I have inspected the raceway and its as smooth as glass. Wish there was tension adjustability!

Detents are good. All of these guns are taken care of and legit, shoot perfect with other hoppers. Tonight a buddy is experimenting with one tonight to see what its doing.

The hopper is garbage!!!! I'll give ya $20 to take it off of your hands. Buy a Rotor

Well one day I was having Problems with it and noticed the raceway was out of alignment with the feedneck, to check it look up the feedneck and see if it's crooked

I'm having the same issues.

Replaced the batteries, reassembled it 4 times and reset the board 4 times.

Keeps shredding. My rotor works fine.

This happened out of nowhere.

I would say fresh batteries; calibrate again but with new batteries; check sensor window to make sure it isn't backwards as some of the original Z2s had the sensor window emplaced wrong causing a sharp edge where the balls were fed.

Did all that. Same thing.

Well, mine has done the same thing today. Literally blended 3 balls INTO the hopper internals, the entire thing is a soupy mess, it wouldn't even run at all. I tried to open it up to clean it, but I couldn't even get the damn e-clips off the field, so I had to cut my day short and bring it home to do a complete teardown and re-assembly. A real real pissoff.

I was shooting some REALLY sh!tty paint, could this be the cause? I also just installed a Boss Infamous bolt, that was the only thing different in my gun.

I gotta blender of a Z2 as well. Both my and my sons shredded paint in them this weekend. On my gun. Gona change detents. Now I can't get the Z2 back in running conditon

I have the same problem...sent it to empire...got it back and used it for the first time today...Blended paint within 30 seconds of shooting...Paint everywhere....all over the board etc...tried to strip it and lost a clip...i hate to say it, but this thing is garbage..my original proph never had a problem

Seriously. HOW DO YOU GET THE F'N E-CLIPS OFF SO EASILY???!!!!!! Simon goes through the Z2 disassembly so damn fast. Even with the e-clips off the ripdrive wheel, the damn thing won't come out!

I'm starting to rage now. I may just ship this thing to Kee and be done with it.

Does anyone's loader spin when turned on and no paint in it. The manual says it will. Both of mine DID, but do no longer. Also when the hopper is advanced with the button, it goes into jam clear after 3 presses...again with no paint. Feeds a pod fine. Can't live fire today, will report back when I do

So, I've formally requested an RA for this thing from Kee. I'm gonna start looking at Rotors now.

Check the pin that the belt wheel sits on. There is a hole n the backbone that the pin/rod has to sit into. If not, the feedback will not align properly

I had some blending issues with my z2. Turns out, it was my fault. Go slow and understand how the thing goes together and assemble it carefully

The e clips are stupid easy to remove. Just push with a flat screw driver.

The fact that you said "it's assembled te only way it will go", makes me think you dd it wrong.

It should fit together perfectly. No gaps in the race or feeway

Well, my Z2 is on its way to Kee.

Shout out to Jason D. at Kee Canada! I'm not quite ready to jump ship to a Rotor just yet.
