Ego sat idle for 2 years

I stopped playing about 2 years ago, and haven't touched my gun since. I'm heading out to play in about 3 weeks, so what should i clean/lube? I've been out of the loop for a while.

I did my best to clean up the caked on paint. The trigger was stuck and I managed to get that moving well again. The bolt and reg I assume probably need a good lubing, but again, I haven't touched any of this stuff in years.

What do you guys recommend? Thanks.

It's an ego 09.

Just make sure the O-rings are not dry and the battery is good then you should be good to go.

Eclipse oil. Not lube. Google for the manual, it'll tell you everything.

Planet Eclipse Gun Oil, and the PE Lube work fine for me. I'd check your orings to make sure nothing leaks, and put a little oil on the rammer.

I'm a fan of routine maintenance and tear my gun down regularly. If you're comfortable diving into a full rebuild, it wouldn't hurt. I don't lube my bolt, just the rammer.

I'm not comfortable with it at all, haven't done it in years. So what would you recommend I tackle?

I'd say hit the lpr, hpr, bolt and rammer just to be safe. But all that u may need to do is just oil the rammer. The lpr/hpr need grease and bolt/rammer need oil.

Any dow33 based grease should work fine. But as for the oil, I've only ever used the PE gun oil.

No need to change O-rings if it isn't leaking. Lube it just as you would when you clean it and you all good. HP/LP Reg get PE grease rammer get PE oil. (Just enough to make the o-rings look wet)

If you're not clear on how to maintenance your marker, look around on youtube. There are a bunch of videos. Even though most will be for guns of different years, the basics will be the same.

The key things are only use oil on the rammer.

The orings on the lpr and the hpr use a light application of grease.

I use the eclipse grease and oil, but I've heard people using other products with success.

Besides Eclipse Grease, Ive used plain dow33 w/ success. ive also heard of people using monkey poo from here for it. Not to discount the fact that both PE grease and oil are on that page, im just throwing Monkey Poo out there, no pun intended.

I've found Monkey Poo to work great on my DMs and Luxes; however, I think it's too thin for regulators and you would have to lube them more frequently as a result.

Lurker has been great on my ego reg and lpr, it's actually replaced everything I've used in poppet or spool valve applications. But for the topic of the thread any Dow based grease is fine and if you use the PE oil try to make sure it's not a older type with a yellowish tint, it was known to occasionally travel through the frame and damage pixels on the screen.
