Are all parts on this a dm9 bolt

Sorry if this is a rookie question, but I am a Dye rookie. This is my first dabbling into the world of dye. Got this gun and it leaks and has just been an awful experience. I have been told that all parts on this bolt are not from a dm9 but can not find an absolute answer. I have e-mailed dye but am awaiting a response so I figured this could not hurt. Sorry that it is upside down. The questions arise particularly with the bolt housing, not the physical bolt itself. It just seems to sit further forward than any other dm bolt I have ever seen (compared this with several other year dm's but did not have adm9 in the shop).

The coloring of the different parts and the bolt tip are what have me confused. As you can see, one part is a gloss and the other is more matte and the tip just sits very far forward. Any help is appreciated guys

Looks like a dm9 kit. Are you using that bolt in a pm5,6,7 or dm4,5? If so you cannot use that can. You will need the stock can for the gun you are using this is due to the oring placement on the can

Sorry, never actually clarified that this is from a dm9. I am using it in a dm9 but it wont seal for the life of me.

That's def a dm9 can. Can I get a pic of the bolt out of the assembly and also one of the back cap.

And where is it leaking from? Breach, back of the gun, frame?

i can see from the pic that you bolt and can may have been polished.. if they have and who did them removed too much material they may have sealing issues..

the back cap looks a bit too pointy, maybe its from a PM?

and the bolt sits too far forward. HMMMMMM....

does the bolt move easily back and forth or does it take a bit of effort.

Takes a bit of effort, nothing incredible but I think it takes more effort than it should.

Odd that the tophat is a different metal color then the can is.

Just an update, dye has confirmed that all parts are a dm9 bolt. Aired it up to check the leaks for you guys and its leaking between the frame and body. Checked the manual and it could be one of 5 things at least. Just had an o-ring rebuild dine though so it should not be any of those. Any ideas?

I did pm you about my serivce, I dont know if you got it though.. its in my sig,

also, I know you said it had a rebuild done, but if it's leaking in the gripframe/body it's only things..

A; bolt sail oring, (if you're using black orings instead of colored that could be a issue as black orings are a bit smaller then the colored)

B; your noid gasket/noid is leaking

C; your LPR is leaking out the bottom of the set screw

I did get your pm, however, due to a very very mildly cooperative selling party the gun will be going back to dye. I received it not working and have been given several methods from the seller to repair it, none of which have worked so to skip all the B.S. I will be sending it back to dye on his dime to eliminate any more chance of error. I am waiting for him to send me the money to ship the gun to them but am trying any minor repairs I can in the meantime to get it up and going. Unless you are local in New Hampshire in which case, pm me again.

Dye will take good care of you, it normally takes them 3-5 business days to fix a gun and send it back, Sadly I'm not in New hampshire.

Ya thats what I assume. I was up for trying to repair it myself but after the first 3 ideas of the seller failed to work I figured it best to just skip the beating of the bush and send it straight back.
