Haha, there was an f35 trans for sale with the quaife differential installed on saablink

then i looked up what it would take to swap an f35 transmission in my car and then said **** it, need a viggen half shaft and drive shafts and either reaming out the steering knuckle or getting a viggen one. 9-5 parts don't work.

I need to find a totalled SS and lowball the **** out of them for the trans/diff when I get money. I already have f35 iirc so the diff swap wouldn't be too bad.

edit: you'd have to swap all the internals as the cases are completely different, which is a pain in the *** and probably beyond most people's skill level.

Diff swap would be about $450 labor from Harvey in MD. who's done most people's diff swaps/rebuilds.

You can make some serious power from e85 on those cobalts, my friend has one and makes 420 to the wheels. I was more than surprised, lol

Really? Google told me it was just the clutch housing that was different. Could I just put my clutch housing on an f35 from a Cobalt SS and call it a day?

You can slap an appropriately sized turbo on pretty much any 4 cylinder and make 420whp.
