The closest stores to me were all 45-50 minute drives away. They are awesome do not get me wrong.

But for those in Libertyville, Ivanhoe Mundelein, Grayslake and Round Lake, I can't find a paintball store?

Am I missing something?

Who wants to open one up with me?

there used to be a bad boys toys by 60 and Milwaukee, i think all the stores except the one in Lansing closed though. might be worth it to double check though

Your only choices for a store that are close are:
Paintball Sally's in Salem Wi
Paintball Explosion in Skokie
Paintball Explosion in East Dundee

So PBexplostion is great. But both locations are 50 minutes. DiscountPaintball in elk grove is good too but also 50 minutes.

That's going during non traffic hours...

I'm thinking something needs to be added this way.

I own a small business now but am in the process of selling it.

I wonder if their are more people itching for a store in this area. I'd prefer a store/field setup.

The problem is that there are no fields in lake county.
Racine, cook, mchenry, dupage but not Lake.
Hard to support a store when people are not playing as much woodsball in the area. Big box stores have cut back or cut out paintballs altogether.

That's why you need to open a field/store to promote the hobby and get more people in the area involved in the sport

I mean their is definitely potential. It'd take a huge investment up front, in order to attract a lot of the Lake County people it'd have to be a nice facility. There has to be more then just a few of us in Lake County playing paintball... and if we are, their's a HUGE untapped market.

I own land already. I don't think it needs to be commercially zoned. Just something I'm keeping in the back of my head. If anything the if the business could break even I could just use it as a write-off. =)

Bad Boyz toyz was here forever! I'm sure they closed for a reason, which is why I'm thinking store with field would make more sense.

My land is in Mundelein, I'm a little to close to McHenry though, and their is H2 about 20 minutes from me. Libertyville or Vernon Hills would be better but I'm sure that land is BIG cash.
