SIDS now PSP affiliated event!!!

As many of you know, TPA was removed as a field for the MWPL series this season. In order to keep prizes for the TPA Cup close to being the same we need to add another event. We are already hosting the 2nd Annual SIDS Awareness event August 3rd. I know many of you planned on playing this event anyways to help raise money for this great cause. Here’s how it’s going to work. The SIDS Awareness event will be added to the TPA Cup series giving us 6 events again. In the 1st 5 prelim series events, teams will receive series points based on the amount of teams playing the event and how well they placed. Series total points will be able to be viewed on the APPA site. I will provide the link soon. Teams are able to DROP their lowest score if they play all 5 prelim series events. 4 out of 5 scores will count toward the SERIES PRIZES. The 6th event is a Championship event in October offering a whole new set of prizes. In order to qualify for the Championship Event, players must have played 3 out of the 5 prelim series events. They do NOT have to be rostered on the same roster to qualify for the championship event. Players must have played 3 TPA Cup 5 man or 3 man events in 2013 to qualify to be rostered on a Championship roster in the 2013 season no matter how you have placed.
The SIDS Awareness Charity event is slightly higher entry fee but you will be compensated with other prizes and donating to a good cause at the same time. The Landen Thomas Philpot Healthy Baby Fund has some AMAZING prizes they are raffling off as well. The limited addition Luxe 2.0 is AMAZING. It’s a 1 of 1 made. Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets for that and other cool prizes. Check out their photos on their Facebook page and see some of the great items they will be raffling off.
The July 28th 5 Man event and the SIDS Aug 3rd 5 Man events are back to back. We understand what a financial drain this can cause for most teams. We are very sorry but this seems to be the best solution to our problem and to help a great cause. So here is our solution. For the 5th event held September 15th, series points will be doubled. So this means going into the last event it’s still anyone’s series. We will also take $50 off entry (or provide 1 free case of $50 paint) per team that plays both the TPA Cup July 28th and the August 3rd SIDS events. You will receive your compensation at the SIDS Event Aug 3rd. The rosters do not need to be the same but you need to be registered under the same team ID number on APPA in order to receive credit.
Series Prizes are being added and I will update you very soon. A BIG PRIZE has already been added to the D5 division and 2 prizes are now guaranteed but I have HUGE list of things to add still. AXE Markers, GOGGLES, LOADERS, PACKS, PANTS, JERESYS, t-SHIRTS AND MORE!!!
We have given out lots of free paint and entries already with a lot more to go!!

Teams playing the SIDS event will receive TPA Cup Event Prizes and SIDS Awareness Event Prizes for paying this one event.
Regular TPA Cup Series points will be given to the teams participating in the SIDS event.
Players may be rostered on more than one team as long as roster size and player classification does not conflict. Games will not be “held” for players who are not ready to play because they just got off the field.

**All players must pay the TPA Cup 2013 $30 league fee to participate during TPA Cup season. You can instead purchase a 2013 PSP ID that will cover the TPA Cup and ALL PSP and PSP affiliated leagues. If you already have one of those ready then don’t worry. These fees help pay for a tracking system for players and teams. Once you gain so many points you will level up just like XP points on video games sysytems.**
