what's up nation... i'm a freshman this year at SUNY Albany and i was wondering if anyone here went/goes there. are there any fields or stores or anything up there?

i too am local. there are several fields. if your into scenario play there is Albany Scenario Club in nassau, High Energy (just changed ownership) in amsterdam, coopers cave near glens falls and they also have a pro-shop and Hornets nest down in ancromdale they too have a shop. if you enjoy speedball High Energy, Coopers Cave, Hornets Nest and First Prize may be opening again with new owners. Coopers cave also does a traveling booth at ASC events and sometimes High Energy too.

There used to be a NCPA SUNY Albany team too. I was a part of it but after we all graduated in 2006 the team fell apart. Good luck!

If ur in Oneonta closest place may be R&M Paintball in Vestal, just outside of Binghampton. I live about 45 min north of Oneonta, been to R&M a lot. Owner is a great guy, nice field, check it out.

there should be two madpooh stickers on suny albany campus. one on one of the recycling sign/garbage bin outside of the food court area, and one on a window above an exit of one of the dormitories (near the football field if i remember)

Damn I'm thinking about transferring to albany but I'm gonna miss playing competitively a lot ,I know it sounds like lame excuse to stay local,it seems as though what more important *****es or paintball? tuff decision , I have a gf but your only young once sigh....

we have several NYPL teams in the area , so you wouldnt have to go without competitive play out here.

they are only open for private parties until the field is sold.

Right, and RPI's NCPA team is very active in the area also. This year we're practicing out of Cooper's Cave in Kingsbury. Over the winter we'll be driving to Matt's Outback.

We've heard rumors of a UAlbany team reforming, which would probably be good for us to have scrimmage partners. If this is true, PM me and we can probably help out.
