It dumped rain on Friday afternoon. I'm surprised we were able to eliminate anyone as the paint on our third and fourth game of the day was squirrelly! We had a lot of fun at the event although the weather was bad on Friday. Looking forward to the next event.

This is true... Don't get me wrong, Friday SUCKED!!! But at least we didn't deal with Tornados and flooding like the Badlandz PSP event a few years back. That was the worst I've ever seen.

No I didn't I had already started working for the NPPL at that point and stopped playin X-Ball... I heard it was a mess though.

I think Shawn and the rest of the team did a great job of dealing with the weather and keeping a "the show must go on" mentality. The only reason some matches got moved was purely for player safety.

Galveston was not only the most destructive weekend of paintball. It was so ****ing cold and very high winds, rain was horizontal. I wanted to go home at day 1....
