I will definitely buy a backpack! I can justify it by also using it for school

So am I the only one who thinks that PE should ditch the hard case you get when you purchase a gun from them and just include their marker bag instead? Seems like a more sensible and player friendly option to me.

Its a good idea but i dont thing they would do it. Then eveyone would want to choose a color.

I like both but the hard case is a little more practical for shipping

Honestly the fact that you can lock down your gun and your gear bag justifies the cost to me. I have spent enough money on my gear that I would spend 200 to make sure some tool doesn't go running off with it. I would more then likely get the split gear bag or maybe just the backpack in red.

True, True... But then you could color match the bag with the gun... So a blue gun would get the Twillight Plaid... a purple one the Purple Plaid... I think showing that attention to detail would really set PE above the rest.

Yes the hard case is good for shippping, but I have had several guns shipped to me in just a cardboard box with a foam insert and they arrived just fine with out any damage.

Just a thought if anybody from PE is listening.

elogo red looks awesome, but do they have new features? They look exactly like my bag just in different colors/designs

This. I would rather use my $200, special bag to haul my special gear, than using shopping bags or the such and letting it get stolen easily. The locking feature included with the bag is spectacular, and I plan on using it. I hate leaving my navigator around (it's from 2008, new with tags. Most people take the tags off, I leave them on so I can find it lol [in the event it got stolen ])

No. I would rather accidently drop my tank on a hard case than a soft one. You never know what could happen lol. The clam-shell is boss, and notice that really only eclipse is giving it with their markers, stock . Most other companies I've seen are giving cardboard boxes with foam.

Now for me to decide which one is more practical in the ways of hauling gear, and which works best with regular traveling

The skull pattern was from last year. It was called Titan White and the print was black and white. ANS had Planet Eclipse make the same print but in blue and white. That color print exclusive to ANS.
Planet still makes the same print in black and white.

Does anyone have the Gravel Backpack that can verify the size of the laptop/gun compartment? I'm looking to fit a luxe case, 12x15x4 is the dimensions.

Yeah, I'm between this and the Empire Transit. I really want the Gravel backpack but only if a luxe case could fit in the laptop/gun compartment. I know the Etek 3 case fits (saw a video on youtube), but I don't know the dimensions of the etek 3 case.

If I still had mine I could tell you
Go into the luxe forum and have someone measure it?

We used to use cardboard and foam some years ago and we believe that hard cases are superior for shipping expensive markers half way around the world.

The Etek case is 295 x 265 x 70mm, approximately 11.5 x 10.5 x 2.75".

What are you looking for?

Our team loves them. Build quality is top notch and most importantly the zippers appear to be very durable. They have plenty of room to store all our gear. Most guys use the small compartment by the telescopic handle to hold their markers, as two gun cases fit perfectly. Two guys opted to go with the compact bag, as they had minimal room in their trunk and they fit a little easier in the backseat while still leaving room for a passenger or other gear.

My only gripe with the bag stems from getting up too early and loading the car half asleep. Both ends have a padded fabric handle and on occasion I'll grab the handle on the wheeled end and try rolling it with no wheels.
