im thinking about putting some on my gun, buy what is the tape like? will it leave a bunch of sticky residue on the gun or will it be little enough that i could pick it off?

It's duct tape. It will usually leave some residue behind.

you can always just goo gone it once you dont want it on there anymore, no big deal.

I've used it on cars, so I doubt it.

Just use the hunters cammo tape. Its made to go on bows and rifles and come off without leaving any residue. Your local hunting or Army/Navy store should have some.

the only problem with the hunters tape is that if you get paint on it its gets gooey and sticky. I use it on my mask and its a pain when I get shot in the face.

The camo tape i seen isn't duct tape. It more like a hockey tape. It wouldn't leave as much stikcy residue as duct tape.

CamoForm tape is available in various patterns and grips itself. Leaves no sticky on the gun and can be taken off and washed when covered in paint
