Its PE's mid end gun.
I wouldnt be going and selling your 05's/06's for it...the 05's and 06's are high end. the Etech is mid end...designed to compete with the proto line of markers and markers like the proto.
Kinda annoys me that people are saying " man my 05 is worse than this new marker and i payed a crapload more for it last year "
your 05 is NOT worse than this new marker. Your 05 is more air efficient, has a better mode display ( the screen not the lights ) Doesnt have a microswitch board but an opti switch.
there are more to put down but im too tired to do it.

Why would LCD be better than LED?
No QEV's me efficiency wont be as good ( people will notice )
Personally i like the optiswitch just because you dont doesnt mean jack diddly ****.
all in all..your a moron..this is a downgrade to the 05..let alone the 06 too. |

Looking pretty good. If I wouldn't have picked up a pm6 about a month ago, I might have waited for this. Only question: how big of a difference is there between a regular micro switch and their optical activation. I have felt an e-blade and shoot a gun with a regular microswitch, so i sorta have an idea I guess, I just wondered what you ego owners would think.

Wow, The body looks great on this, i cant wait to see one in person.
I think that the body looks better with the nice clean lines on it.
I know people are going to want to slap some qev's on this thing, is there room in the gripframe to do it? or will that be a major modification to put qev's on it?

Hopefully that will help out with the price asking. That is what Jack posted on the first page but whoever had the first post please edit it to include the price.
I'm not really impressed with this Ego. It seems too much like the other Egos. No QEVs or LCD arent really enough changes in my opinion but it should be a good choice over the PM series markers and hopefully without the terrible resale.

Price range is $750.
I am most definately going to get one. Its like my 06 Ego's little brother. It is heavier though than an 06, by about 1/2 a pound.
Although personally I find LED's annoying. I hate counting flashing lights to tell what mode I am in.

Consiering the price on the SL 66 is Outrageous and I'd never pay that Much for a gun. I am definetly going to Pick one of these up.
I hate LCDs anyway LEDs way easier to operate 
I hope the SL66 has a Price drop sine no one will Buy them now!
