meh, not sure if I like this setup/look but I figured I'd try it today since I have a beauty dish. What do you think? It was a super quick deal due to the fact it was really cold out. just processed color and and what not but not skin/etc.

cheesy smile has to do with the dude having autism and that's just how he rolls. It's also like 32* out and really misty...i thought it was going to be warmer so bleh. But yah, little too harsh so it was hard to blend it in with the bg. I shall try again when I want to be out more than 15 min.
hmph, looks quite a bit different on my work monitor compared to my editing one. suck

I'm having a hard time seeing the lights direction but I'm thinking a little bit higher up would've helped. As Jeff said, throw a CTO on that bad boy.

I love the directional light of the BD. I've got a pretty big endeavor tomorrow with sport portraits. Here's to hoping I don't suck it up.

That second one is fantastic, is there a story behind it?

nope, sortof random get together with older model. started with projected images [what she wanted] and then I used the projector as a light [what i wanted]. buddy held a 3/4 plastic modeling mirror camera right to bounce the light up the wall.

Did this with the brewery today.
I did some with the 300, but my lighting really shined when I went to the 50.. And I didn't get one with this lighting and the 300. Disappointed in myself, oh well I still like it.

Love the pics of the Niceville FD. I was stationed at Eglin for awhile, I miss it.
