Lack of Karnivor Serial Number

So I just picked up a new Karni, after FINALLY finding an olive and black one that Ive been searching for, and after looking at this pictures, I noticed something I hadn't seen before. There's no serial number on it or the box. Is this common? All the others I have owned have been stamped / engraved.

That is mint, what a great looking karni! I'm not sure about the lack or serial number either. Maybe its a late production model that didnt get stamped.

Thanks! Thats all I could figure as well. And is there any relevence to the MK on the sticker on the box? I figured it was a pretty good deal. Guy bought it new back in the day, and it didnt come timed from the factory and he didnt know how to do it, so it just sat lol.

the serial number should be engraved on the right side, just above the beavertail, i also want to think on some of them it might be on the bottom of the body underneath the beavertail? i had a black/olive one #4441 and it was on the side. i loved it lol, mine came with a black back block, asa, and barrel back though. its wierd, all the other olive ones ive seen are like yours.

All my electros have been super easy to time. Press the button above the battery, go to timing, set to factory fast...and done.

I also had a later production model Karni that didn't have a serial #. I just figured they stopped doing it.
