often considered doing this, if i had a visor for my mask i always wanted to superglue a small mp3 player to the inside, and run the wiring underneath my soft ears taped to the inside of the mask. that way you have no wires to pull out, the whole thing is right there in your head. even mounting it to the inside of the mask all together. think i may start searching for a cheapo mp3....

could be a lot of fun on an outdoor large field with unlimited respawns.. i used to rock out when playing deathmatch in css before CAL matches to warm up. sometimes in scrims.

I hook an iPod nano to my mask strap and wrap the earplugs around the strap. It get me pumped more when I play and I can still hear calls and will yell out calls (and sometimes lyrics). Glad I'm not the only one who likes music

I don't think you should be able to listen to music.

If that kid Keanu Reeves was coaching couldnt listen to Big Poppa so he could pitch good then its not fair you listen to it playing paintball. Baseball is alot safer than paintball.

There's way more people killed playing baseball every year than paintball. Or most other team sports, for that matter.

I've done it for fun a couple of times, but it makes the game much harder. You can't hear your team communicating which is the most important part of the game. The indoor field i used to play at played music at people's request every once in a while and that didn't make it AS hard to hear my team as having headphones in but it still wasn't easy

It was one of those portable iPod speakers, he just attached to the underside of the barrel. I'm pretty sure almost any type of portable MP3 player would work. I mean he had pretty good sound quality but he was on my team and I could hear him runnin around haha.

I was being sarcastic.

But I dont think baseball is more dangerous. Maybe more deadly its easier to get killed by a baseball but I think your more likely to get a serious injury (eye) in paintball. More people get hurt playing baseball but more people play baseball also. Thats like saying cars are more dangerous than skydiving because more people die in cars. But really what if everybody sky dived.

I love paintball and defend it but I think you should also respect how easy it is to get hurt. Just pointing out thats a bad comparison.

Yeah I got to thinking about that after I posted it. I think that number was like a percent thing though, not a number of deaths and injuries. Lol, am I even making sense (haven't slept in a while).

I wouldn't listen to music because i couldn't hear footsteps and where shots are coming from, and couldn't hear teammates making calls.

Baseball is played much more widely than paintball, and has a much longer history. I'm a bit surprised though that records show around 850 total deaths in baseball. I have no idea why there would be that many, even with how much more baseball has been played than paintball, but whatever.

Recball players are unlikely to suffer any injuries aside from maybe a twisted ankle from stepping on a wobbly rock. Speedball players do a lot of sprinting(the highest risk type of running) and diving similar to baseball and can suffer similar injuries.

Gear malfuction(mainly from doing stupid things) is the only real risk of death in paintball and so far there have only been injuries that i'm aware of, no deaths.
