RTFM

"There are 26 firing modes, including the usual semi and full auto as well as zip bursts, plus a new mode called "ramp." Basically this is a mode that escalates the ROF as the trigger is held until it reaches full speed, sounding somewhat like an engine starting up. The gun can also be hooked up to a computer so that the six custom modes can be set up though the link cable is apparently an option and not included with the gun. Any of the 26 modes can be selected by use of the buttons inside the grips and thus cannot be changed during play."

yea, if you shoot 18bps, get a HALO and a Cobra Indestrucdetent. I've just heard of some problems with HALO's on ir3's due to a weak stock ball detent, haven't experienced any on my team, but just in case..

dark acting weird

hey i have a dark angel 2k lcd with the new battery and on off switch the last time i turned it on it wouldnt turn on so i turned it off and tried it again and it worked perfectly there was no error code on it. so i turned it on and off a few more times and it worked fine . then the next day i turned it on and it wouldnt work so i turned it back off and turned it on again and it still wouldnt turn back on so i tried it once more and it turned on . so i was kind of confused what was going on . i looked to see if the battery was low and its at three bars. i was wandering if there mite be n e wires loose or something . i know ther battery indicator isnt always very acurate please help me i have a tournament this weekend and ide rather not use a back up gun thanx JON

Check your connections. This would be from the switch to the battery. You might want also if the wires are loose on the switch, but they shouldn't be if you just got the battery.

u can also try this: leave ur Angel on and let it run out of batteries, then let it charge overnight to insure a full charge. leave it on with the charger in until the day of the tourney.

gun

hey this is jon again there is nothing wrong with my gun something just pissing me off about it i like to shoot my gun fast and it will do it but its weird cause sometimes my gun will shoot like 10 balls going like 13 bps and then the bolt will go to fire and it will hit the ball before it gets into the breach but it wont chop it just hits the ball and stays forward and leaks air in like the fire position and it really pisses me off. i have the bone break mod and my dwell is at 16 if i sent my gun off for a cleaning would it help it at all ?
thanx jon

This is a pretty dumb question, but I just got an Ir3, and I am not sure what board it has. What is the difference between the mem1, mem2, mem3, mem4, etc. Is it just that they rename the board after they fix some bugs in it? How can you tell which board you've got?

when u turn the gun on it should tell you if you have mem 1, mem 2, mem 3, mem 4, etc.. mem 1-3 are micro switch boards and 4-6 are opto boards.

Exclamation Angel input Pressure -

** I think this information will help many new angel users **
__________________________________________________

- Please specify what type of Angel you have - LED, LCD, or IR3

- What air system you are using ?
( pre-set, adjustable, Angel AIR, MacDev, etc. )

- what input pressure are you running?

- what secondary regulator are you using ? ~ output pressure ?
( WDP mini-reg, Messiah, Sidewinder, etc. )

- what input pressures should you avoid ? ~ under 350 ? over 1200 ?

2 2003 angel lcds

angel air running output of 649psi and maxflow running output of 650psi

wdp mini reg on each, no clue on their output...

i'm moving up to 850psi output on the tanks because i haven't had that great of efficiency. as for input i wouldn't go lower than 450psi or so because angels are fast and need a higher pressure because it has a high recharge need..

you can find info about this in FAQs on www.theanelguy.com
