unfortunately im already about half an inch over the diameter i wanted. A 275 would be way to tall for my car.

So i jacked the front up and added .2" of washers the wheel and tire clears the spring seat. This is with an 8" spring and im swapping to 7" springs.






The back looked like this before a bottle jack and 5lb sledge.

They are relatively large and heavy. I'm not trying to knock on your car, but imagine where you would be if you started off with something that wasn't a station wagon.

they are a little long i wont disagree with that. but when is 2,700lbs that heavy for a car?

I see what you're saying but this is what i like working on. Its a truly awesome car i love working on old volvos.

I haven't been following his car very closely so I don't know what it weighs, I was just going off the stock weight, which looks to be around 3100lbs.

Edit: I have a civic hatchback and a miata, so 2700lbs seems like a lot to me. But if you enjoy it then more power to you. I think it's cool too.

yah 3,100 is the curb weight or w/e but most of the time its more like 3,300. My cars around 2,700 with all the weight reduction.

yah those cars are a lot smaller and a lot lighter. hahaha

Idk someday i want to try a different car i really like the idea of an 05 sti. Or a miata but i want a hard top.
