I stopped paying attention to this years ago when they said it would be $1600.

I talked to magfed south africa... they said they were in direct contact with combat manufactured and they are accepting preorders for the k1, which will be released, and is only taking so long do to confidential production problems. He also said it is $1700

I wouldn't pay $1700 for a paintball gun that fires heat seeking paintballs at 100 bps and gets 2 million shots of a 13ci hpa tank.

So this is basically a dm, an air system, a hopper and magfed too.

Put that all together along with the fact it's a niche product and the price ain't so unreasonable.

If this marker is actually making a market debut at $1700 and maintains all the design aspects and build quality I've read about for years, I'm impressed. This is a pretty revolutionary marker if it lives up to what they are saying...

I built my own using Ion and PMR parts for about $500...
Neat concept but the price will put it out of range for most players
Considering you can buy a DAM for less from a longtime paintball manufacturer it will be a hard sell
Would love to be proven wrong,I can appreciate someone adding a new marker outside the mainstream market

so it being a all new platform it has a high end price, but if it was 900$ would it be a go to killer marker ?

I wouldn't pay 100 dollars for a milsim gun that I can't sight with my mask on.
Plus there is already a bull pup kit that uses tippman internals for around 400

p90's are sighted by the top rail as is this, so plenty of room. The A5 kit is sweet but it's not magfed

You can make it magfed with some modding
There's a thread in the Customs section showing a B5 kit with a magfed conversion
