The truck market out here is different, that's for sure. Especially out West in ND. I would swear some guys think their trucks are made out of gold. And they usually get what they are asking. Mainly due to guys having money burning a hole in their pocket from working in the oil fields.

loaded the truck with river rock off the farm. had to removed it and mom needed some rock behind her garage so it was win win besides the back braking labor
Also I reviewed a set of tires mine are Load E's but will work if you want D's or lower for SUV's

The tires I kind of like them. The issue is tread or sidewall flex I made the same review on duramax forum and most of the guys said they have the same problem.
The truck I don't think a different 10+ would be better. Maybe a lbz or 7.3 on par but more miles

Huge price jump between 94 and 02
94-96's can be had for a few grand
Most of them are beat to **** from contracting companies or kids trying to make them fast

I've seen them from 1,500 to over 16k for a low mileage 02. Depends on if they've been ragged on or driven by some old farmer.

Around here after some research they seem to be at ~12k for an 01 with 150k or so miles.

Curious, anyone want LNIB Cognito UCA's for an LB7? I bought them from a guy in the box still wrapped in plastic (ball joints, manual, parts too) and I haven't touched them. Trying to divert all necessary funds to my injectors

Saw the first grill cover on today. High of 37.... But going to be in the 40s the rest of the week it looks like. Too warm for one.
Until the average is in the mid to lower 30s I don't put it on and I do a ton of early morning 530 driving to leave for work.

If it stays below 30 I put one on but that is the only time. I keep it in my tool box.
I am thinking of using the block heater this winter though. I drive to work at 5am and it gets cold on and off lately after the snow hits I'm going to get a timer and have it kick on about an hour before I have to leave

Never thought of a timer, mine is usually fine cause it sits in a garage that gets heated almost every night, stays warm in there til morning anyway.
Thinking of jackin mine up a little more, its at 2.5" now, I want 6"

3hrs is max really ever need to go with block heaters. Most time 2hrs is just right were it just reaches max temp and keeps it there. 1hr will help either way with starting.
Digital timers with 7 day programers are great where you can set it to your work schedule and kicks on 2hrs or so before you leave. What i do with my truck. Not like every night its needed either so just don't plug in.

Hey ICB, we're having a diesel drag racing event next year at the end of the season down here just west of Sioux Falls. The only date the track owner had available unfortunately. Flo Pro is going to be there with there truck. Spread the word to your MN boys. We been posting it on the forums already.
Btw, got a little project in the works. Think 07 rc/sb 1500 + 12v + lots of air & fuel.
