People always will argue about stuff like this..... I like 'em, personally. Tonight's were pretty cool. It was LOUD in there.
Here's something in their practice facility...I thought it was an interesting concept.
It kind of makes sense though, because Oregon doesn't really have any longstanding traditions (not counting track and cross country, where they have 18 national champs). So if you don't have any old traditions.... You can make new ones, and the new ones are being really fast, having cool Nike uniforms, and routinely making risky play calls. That's their tradition of the past four years.... And they're the only unchanged coaching staff in all of NCAA football in these four years. I'm probably thinking entirely too much into this, but maybe they're making a tradition out of not having normal traditions.... Like Bruce Lee and Jeet Kun Do, which is the style of no style.
Being in the military, traditions we still have are literally hundreds of years old.... And some of those traditions do nothing for us.... They become a scapegoat for stupid stuff, with "we've always done it that way". I'm not saying college football programs are anything like that, but the idea of it is something I can associate with.
....and then Oregon will lose chip Kelly, and the ducks will go to complete ****. :sad face:
