I'm pretty sure the tanks are manufactured from the same bottle companies. (Inocom) As far as the price difference, CP regs are far more better and consistent than the Myth regs.

the amount of shots depends on the gun

cant use CP here in canada, your options are basically

guerrila air
pure energy
crossfire
ninja
spyder
smart parts
wgp
nitro duck

A good rounded guessimate is about 10 shots per ci from a 3000 psi and about 15 shots per ci from a 4500 psi tank.

So, for the 68/4500, 68 x 15 = 1020 (rounded quessimate)

GA tanks are Gayston tanks actually, but the price difference is in the manufactures decision... GA doesn't charge as much, because they don't need to, they survive just fine since they don't have a Gigantic office in California with 400 employees on their payroll like some of the other companies.

It all depend on the gun and how well it has been broken in. For example, I get 13 pods from a 68/4500 through my luxe, however an a5 with the same tank would only get around 3 pods.

...so is it safe to assume, for the most part, all 4500 tanks are about the same (other than size),however if they have a CP reg.installed it may be a better, more efficient tank? I maybe in the market for a new tank so I am learning the "ins and outs"..

By the way, no "VS" here, I am just curious.

Thanks!!

It depends on what gun you have, and how mcuh paint has been through it, and whether it has been maintenenced correctly and often, and your settings.

Please pay a bit more attention to the last posting date. The thread is more than a month old. It would have been preferable for you to create a new thread.

As to your question: CP used Inocom tanks, which were not TC-certified. I had heard some of the newer ones are TC certified, but have yet to see one.

I noticed the posting date but this is incorrect information that probably should be corrected, the 68/4500 CP tanks are TC certified and I have seen them in Canada

to answer your question, not tank reg will be much different than the other in terms of shot count, assuming you are buying a new one from a popular company
