If you got it through Verizon, it's most likely 9/21. It was the online apple store that went to 2 weeks after an hour.

Long story short I was using my iPad in the garage left it on my wife's windshield didn't pay attention that she had left and now iPad is longer there when she gets back, its either broken or had already been erased finder didn't work (all within less than 10 minutes) an I went out an bought a new one
