2012 G6R board update?

Does the 2012 G6R have a board update, i don't know why but the BPS only adjustable by 1 BPS really gets under my skin for some reason i want that extra .5 adjustment. i haven't heard any thing about it and i was thinking about calling bob long about this issue unless im out of the loop.

Nope, still only adjustable in whole numbers as far as I know.

put it on 13... It's always .5 bps slower than what it shows

You're welcome

Those chronos aren't accurate for ROF. Neither are OLED/LCD gun board readouts.

PAC timer is the only one out of those I would trust.

That's why PAC timers are the only ones that matter.

I have been shooting semi only for pretty much the entire time I've played paintball (over 14 years). I don't think I can actually shoot 32, but I do know I can shoot over 20 consistently. Even my ego11 and g6r12 read over 25. Boards are just not accurate for telling how fast you actually shoot. I have yet to use a virtue clock, but I would use something more accurate then the red chronos. The big white hand helds (the name escapes me at the moment) seem to be the most accurate that I have used. But I think those even only go to whole numbers.
Checking your gun prior to an event would be my suggestion. Just have a ref check your bps prior. Honestly, if you aren't playing events then getting that extra .5 bps out of your gun is kind of pointless. It is fast enough(8 bps is really as fast as you need for that actually) that you can put out a lane thick enough that nobody on this planet could run through anyways. I usually cap my gun around 10-15 depending on the field/rules/amount of experienced players.

when im playing during open play i always cap myself at like 15. i want to make sure i dont light some little kid up on accident. as for speed, i know i can reach over 20 but its nowhere near consistent. the trigger trainer on my spec-r's board shows that i avg around 17ish bps.

honestly the .5 doesn't matter at all, i actually miss when psp was 10.5. when it was 15 it was just to over the top 12 doesn't bother me but i feel like i wasted less paint when it was 10.5.

When I played AXBL and the cap was 15.3 and then played any other series that was capped at 12.5 or lower, it seemed a lot easier to move with the lower caps. I think the higher caps were in conjunction with the paint companies since they sold a ton more paint, but once you get used to those higher ROF going slower isn't as much fun.

We are all well aware of your volume per kill. Case a kill. Just curious, how much paint do you shoot on an average day of play?
