Richmond Cup location

Did anyone else think the CXBL announcement last week was a little odd? The Richmond Cup will be played in Florida this year at another league's event (don't want to mention the league and get an infraction) .

Maybe this is why they dropped the AXBL... So they could team up with a U.S. league without having the AXBL getting in the way.

The press release is on the CXBL website in the news section.

seems like a solid idea really. Drop us, get a bigger US league to team with and bam. Instant profit and more people interested in the CXBL.

i think its a smart move for them. i think someone should post up and remind the american players who plan on watching this what the cxbl said about the american players. i jsut think its funny how you dont think america likes what you are doing to you come to america to show off your league. stay in canada. you call us ungreatful and then try to use us again becsue you cant make your league better with out us

I agree and that was kind of my point.

Was it smart of the CXBL? Yes.
Was it right for them? Probably.
Was it right the way they went about it? Not to me.

CXBL in Canada run things like a dictatorship, they're in trouble, outwest they couldn't get enough teams so they will double round the teams so to have a full season. These guys are greedy, and want to control everything. When they couldn't control us her on our own truf they left, and I say good we don't need them.
