Had my first DE shave tonight before heading in to work....needless to say I'm impressed. I definitely have to work on technique, I have a few nicks on my neck, but no big deal. A ittle bit of razor burn, and that osom block ****ing burnsssss. My pre-shave oil should be in by friday so hopefully that helps soften my beard even though I tooka shower before.

Yeah. It's all in technique. And getting the lather just right. I find that a more wet lather lends to a smoother, pain free shave. My neck is always has some bumps that just never go away so I know how you feel on the neck.

The alum block burns like crazy if you shaved too close or at a bad angle. It should just be a slight tingle if you did it perfectly. But it tends to hurt more on the neck than anything. I have been doing it for 2 years and always find something that makes it more enjoyable.

so Im in the guard and I want to get out of my gym membership. is it illegal to change some dates on my old tech school orders and give to them to break the contract? I will also change names and phone numbers so they can't check on ****, even though I dont even know if they have the right to do that. Im sure they are gonna just look at them and so ok.

i signed a six month contract and am now moving away from the area due to unforeseen circumstances. They want the full contract amount.

Crane- I really look forward for the next few weeks, as my technique gets better and I find what works best. For now...it's probably going to be mediocre but now that I have everything, I just need to spend a few bucks on razors and soap.

Also, bought Old something avocado soap...smells ****ing amazing!

Taylor of old Bond Street? If so, I just picked up the almond from them and it was like shaving with ameretto. I was really happy with my first shave with their soap.

yep, that's the stuff. Yea, it smells amazing. I'll tell you what though...it doesn't take a lot of soap and not much water(hardly any) to get that **** lathered up....I think I had way too much water and soap in my bowl. I think when I get home I might shave just to work on it lol.

You don't need to change any dates. Just have your recruiter type up a memo saying they are legally bound to cancel the contract due to military service. If they don't, threaten them with JAG.

Hes in the guard, hes not leaving for basic training, tech school or active duty (other wise he would have sufficient orders in hand already.) He is moving on his own terms. The military is not making him move therefore, they aren't legally bound to do anything to accommodate him.

Yeah. I am used to needing quite a bit of soap from my proraso stuff, but this new stuff required hardly any. I had WAY too much.

It becomes a lot like paintball (or any other hobby) you keep convincing your self you NEED another razor, or another brush, or a different soap. It can get dangers. Commonly known as RAD. Razor Acquisition Disorder.
