Asked him what the name of the place was, just waiting for a reply now.

Meanwhile in Norway, received and am now messing with my new autococker. Traded my Clone-v2 for the karni+$220. Bought the Clone for $425 so it was a good deal.

That's a terrible trade. (Unless you have another clone in the bag.)

Got a zr1, crome2 and about 20 Matrixes. Out of those the clone lost out in every category.

You must suck at fitting orings and overlube like a beast. I've had a ton of matrices and they're not as smooth as a well maintained VX'd clone or even a droid. They're also not as efficient, are heavier, don't have OLEDs... come to think of it "every category" to you must be severely different to people on this side of the pond. The ZR1 is a POS too unless you run it with an aftermarket reg and ASA, but even then it doesn't shoot on par with most other high end spools. The chrome or maybe even a demon I'd say are close enough that it's personal preference, but come on... the ZR1 better than a clone? No fricken way. Not even close.

Lets just agree to disagree, you adore the clone; I think it's a pos. I can live with that
Though your assumptions at the start of your post are nothing short of drivel.

Demons are worse though
Hahaha... It's not that I adore the clone, in all sincerity I like the axe as much as any gun out there. The clone is just a heck of a shooter IF you pamper it. The axe shoots pretty solid, but some of the fit and finish details aren't perfect but at 1/2 the price of a used clone I can live with that. I really loved my marqs too (sc'd closer and stock engine marq7) but again they required too much loving. My axes come out of the bag, get abused, go back into the bag. If I jack something up Kee sends me a new part for free. Now THAT is a players gun. (As an aside, I won't shoot a stock bolt'd axe... boss or eigenbolts only.)

I would like to get a GTi when they come out and get rid of my VX'd. I won't unless I get lucky and find a GTi cheap, but I'd like to.

I swear man... Some guns should be laser engraved with a minimum IQ to own. Not necessarily him, but people say DMs kick bad... Yeah, no kidding you have 2 extra shims in there. Oh, your clone is loud? You're running 130psi and using dow55. You can't get to velocity on your marq? Oh, you don't own a pressure tester. lol.

I kind of like the VX'd the best of the clones, but in all seriousness my droid was smoother likely because of the extra weight. I know you don't like them but axes can be just as smooth as a DM or clone with a bolt and some loving.

It's not that I don't like them. They just do nothing for me. For the price, I'll take a Proton. Lighter, smoother, better looking, and just cooler since they use that clapper noid. Honestly, there is nothing below $600 that I would even CONSIDER over a Proton now that I got to own an Aura. Simply nothing IMO can even come close to competing. They'd have to price the Axe IMO at $200 to compete, I like the Aura that much more. Even the DX would need to be around $200 to have me consider it.

Wow. Lighter yes, smoother vs stock yes, but better looking? I actually like the look and feel of axes and am the opposite as you in that I hate clapper noids.

Normally I would, since clapper noid = sear tripper. But this is a full electropneumatic that uses a clapper noid. I find it awesome that they did that.

But a new, patented slip stream noid isn't more awesome?

No. It's a pneumatic solenoid, same as all the other patented solenoids. whoopdy-freaking doo. So they designed their own instead of using an existing standard so you HAVE to go to them to get parts and can't go to the company that made it.

Lol, not exactly but whatever you say. Unlike most spool operated 3-way solenoids it is more like an electropneumatic shutoff valve. They cost $32 OR Kee will replace them for free. I'm not sure if you just don't like the Axe because you want to be different, but engineering wise it is pretty fantastic. Even the poppet system is pretty clever.

No, I just am unimpressed with how they shoot for the money. I owned an Axe when they first came out. Owned a Mini when they first came out. Found them both to be middling markers. The Mini at least was dirt cheap so it could be forgiven since most other markers in that price range also didn't include on/offs. They fixed the horrid trigger and lack of an on/off with the Axe, but I still am totally unimpressed with how they shoot. The only marker in that general price range I like the way it shoots better than is the Etha, DP anything, and stacked poppets.

Lol, you must've had a dud. Answer honestly but did you try a boss or lurker bolt? It takes your stock 180-200psi operating pressure down to 130-160psi (tops).

The early minis sucked until they sprung the poppet.

I guess we'll agree to disagree but I like them best out of any gun I've owned. Thew clone vx'd would be #2 and the stock engine marq (I also had SC engine) was next.

I've shot boss bolt Axe. Never shot Lurker. Was better, but still didn't do anything to wow me. Still think the Aura was smoother, and at that point, new vs. new, $200 cheaper and lighter.

Yeah, I understand. The boss bolts have a ton of room for tuning with the 3 springs.
