Victory (spool) behavior I can't understand

Last night playing I had something happen with my VCOM/spool motor that I don't quite get.

After the last day of play with this gun (which was a couple months ago) I cleaned/re-lubed the engine and made sure everything was working OK.

Last night when I took the gun out, I got everything together and gassed it up and when I went to chrono the gun, trigger pulls were only causing the solenoid to click...there was no firing of any kind. No leaking either.

click. click. click.

I made sure the eyes were registering a ball in place (which it was) and then just held down the trigger. Right before the eyes turn off, the gun usually takes a shot and it did that shot just fine.....and now everything is magically working again and not another problem all night.

Anyone seen that before or know what causes it?

Sometimes solenoids stick and take a few shots (sometimes a lot) to break them loose after sitting a while. I might suggest re-lubing your solenoid. The other item might be your LPR, because the same thing can happen if your LPR piston sticks.

I assume you already changed your battery, becasue this is the first thing you should do with pretty much any gun problem .

The tank is a Ninja 77/SLP.

Thanks for the suggestions on the Solenoid/LPR stick. As I said, I was at a loss as to what was going on.

Just had a marq loose 25psi LPR from sitting in a cold garage for a couple months. Took 5 trigger pulls to get a clean full powered shot. Check your settings again as I guess it happens. the lprs in these are all really similar so there is a good chance this is where to start.

Check your pressures. On some of the vcoms the lpr/hpr screw would come loose after playing and you would have to tighten them again. I had to do this to my vcom. I just used blue loctite on the hpr and it fixed my problem

Sounds like the same eye issue the insights have had. What board flash are you using?

May sound wierd, but contact blast to see if they will flash it to frenzy 5.0 or frenzy 5.19bd. This should allow the eyes to work like normal from my experience with the new insight flashed boards.
