nova blowback
My nova has bad blowback, I put in 3 paintballs (1 in the breech, 2 in the feed tube) then I shoot and the 2 balls in the feed tube fly out. That causes bad choping. I have adjusted the trigger rod, and the spring in the barrel. Anyone have any other ideas?
thanks

Check to make sure everything is sealing correctly in the gun (o-rings).

If somehow... I dunno...possibly dwell is majorly off - though I don't think that's adjustable on the Nova700. Matter of fact, I don't think that was a known option back then lol

Have you checked the piece of hose that's behind the poppet? It has to be with the holow faces to the sides.

There is hose behind the poppet? Is it behind the spring behing the poppet? How big is the hose, I am not sure that I have even seen it before.

How much blowback is there? If it's only a problem if you have 1 or two balls on the ballstack i wouldn't worry about it too much. Both my nova and supernova do that same thing if there's only one ball left. Does it have problems feeding with a hopper?

sometimes, I have not gone through a hopper yet since I adjusted the trigger rod. But before that the blowback would cause the paintballs to pop in the elbow.

You need to weaken the barrel spring tension...it's drawing the barrel back a split second too soon...

I have a 10" brass barrel, a 16" brass ported one, and a 16" aluninum barrel. The 2 brass ones have barrel Assembly, the aluninum does not.
