did it ever get patented? if so the patent is supposed to be designed so that someone skilled in the arts could make one just from looking at the patent, that might help you out a bit.

I think its more fun making them and working out the bugs. Its a more involved process that will only gain you knowledge of the marker.

Application for it, but not granted yet as far as I know. If you know enough about proper general design such as seals, clearances, and tolerances, you would probably be able to make one pretty handily from Ydnas animation just as well as the patent. At least the basic stacked tube version that everyone knows about, he has an inline variant in the application too.

Yeah, Colin seems to actually be very good at writing them. You should read the hAir patent sometime. Not that patents are a great read or anything. When reading them, I highly suggest printing the PDF as jpg images and reading the description side by side to the image in question, flipping back and forth sucks really fast when they are referencing hundreds of points.

Nice work! I emailed him about the Aedes but never got a response... Then school and money problems got in the way. If I decide to give it a try again I will have to call him, rather than email. Good luck with this!

pretty much what I check things from.
BTW as far as I know KEE owns the patent... then again I guess the MINI had to be legal before they could sell it right?

I emailed as well, and i got no response. So one day I got the courage to call him, wow I'm glad I did. I learned many things, and it was really cool

Not that I'm in a position to dispute that KEE is involved in the patent application (I have no idea), and I've seen someone else mention it before, but the Mini is based on the old King Cobra design, which was patented years ago.

Not that it really matters since nobody is accountable anymore, but I would guess the mQ predates the King Cobra. I remember the development for that valve "holy grail" begun in like 2003. Don't know for sure though.

When Have Blue was over at my house dropping off a solenoid we were talking about the mini and I want to say that he said that when Kee was designing it that they were basing part of the design off of the Nova. He said that he sent them some gun that he had to help design the mini, again this is about all I remember he could tell it better.

'bug, that 2litre + is mine. I let him use it for 2 reasons: 1) because his reg seat broke and I'm too lazy to call up dp for a replacement and 2) to break it in.
btw, Its I'd be there right now to pick them up... but I havent had the time.

Still the faster you initiate the RMA, the longer you can put off sending it in.
