Since my promotion I've started making a lot more money. I recently booked a summer vacation for my girlfriend and I to punta Cana.

Instead of buying things, I want to travel for the next few years, even though I just bought a new car... Haha

Congrats on the promotion Jeff!!!

I sort of got a promotion too... but more like a pretty good raise since I'm pretty much doing what I did before. Our DBA quit... who I pretty much backed up.

We traveled a lot early in our marriage also. After we had our first child we still travelled every year, but slowed down when our second kid reached 3 years old. Airfare started to get really expensive when adding that 4th seat. But now that they are bigger and a nice wage increase, we have a big trip planned for next year to celebrate our anniversary.

I'm in outside sales/ business development with an IT services company. I'm sure ray knows what they are considering he works in the IT field.

I'm 22, got promoted in 6 months outside of school and my territory is the 5th largest city in the US.

Not sure where and when yet, but we want to do something the whole family can enjoy.

My wife works part time. We felt that it would be best that she could stay with the kids full time. Since she works at the same school that our kids attend, it works out well.

I trained in Oracle apps in Malvern PA. Worked for SCT corp, which changed to SunGard Higher Ed.... now known as Ellucian. There are a lot of Oracle shops in PA. We are currently looking for a Oracle dev right now... want to relocate?

That's something I've always thought about. I'm a CPA, my wife's a nurse. Since she has a job making good money, it makes me hesitant on saying that she should cut back at the time we have kids.

When we decided to cut back her work hours, housing was low, gas wasn't as high as it is today, and I wasn't making as much. We had to cut back a lot, but thinking it would change with future raises.. since the economy was great at the time. I'm making pretty close to what we made as a dual income back then... so it worked out. I think we would have made the same decision today, but it is a little more difficult in today's economy. Hopefully things will turn around. Sometimes I dream of all the toys I would buy if she worked full time again.. But the kids are benefiting from it.

well no more jailbreak. dont update to 6.1.3 also what sucks even more is that if you own anything past a 4s. you can downgrade firmwares or restore to the same firmware
