When we decided to cut back her work hours, housing was low, gas wasn't as high as it is today, and I wasn't making as much. We had to cut back a lot, but thinking it would change with future raises.. since the economy was great at the time. I'm making pretty close to what we made as a dual income back then... so it worked out. I think we would have made the same decision today, but it is a little more difficult in today's economy. Hopefully things will turn around. Sometimes I dream of all the toys I would buy if she worked full time again.
. But the kids are benefiting from it.
