new kid. my photography.

hey. i'm new around here, i thought i'd introduce myself a little and show some of my work. my name is peter, i'm a music industry major at cal state northridge, i do a little car work on the side (mostly maintenance), and i've been doing film photography for about half a year now. i like to keep my equipment simple, so i use a polaroid sx-70, holga GCFN, and a canon eos rebel T2.

The third picture has a lot of potential. It's too grainy, in my opinion and it needs something to contrast the skin/light behind it. Maybe some blood (read: red coloring on the arm) to make it stand out.

or maybe its just too early..

BLASPHEMY!

jk, fellas. I finally made my best bud create an account here. All i've been doing is talk about the photo section so I finally made him create an account. We go out shooting almost weekly.

Enjoy your stay, Pete.

PS- In Pete's defense, the actual polaroids look much better in person, scanning ****s them up.

you should get a large format if your going to do polaroids.

search polaroid type 55. it is both a positive polaroid and a negative sheet of film in one polaroid.

Sweet Jesus, that sounds awesome.

The more I look at the polaroids the more I think they could be in a national ad like American Apparel or another high fashion ad.

Good colors in them.
