im thinking about getting a MicroMag RT. i was just wondering what do you guys think about it. I dont no alot about mags so if you can give me some pointers. And if anyone has a pic of any mag post it so i can get some ideas.

its fast but it defeats the purpose of the mag (no 1/4 turn barrel)

Actualy, the cocker barrel is why I bought my micromag... It's an advantage to some people :-) And if you don't break paint, removing the barrel isn't an issue. Preformance wise, the micromag RT is exactly the same as any other RT valve mag with a benchmark frame.

i got a regular (non-retro) micromag recently, and when i compare it to a friend's 68 classic automag, it almost seems unfair. his breaks paint fairly often, the trigger is kind of annoying, and i personally do not like the mag style of barrel. the micromag has yet to break a ball in the case and a half ive had through it, the trigger is a thing of beauty, and uses cocker threads, which means i wont have to worry about getting my barrel stuck in my marker (happens surprisingly often with the mags we have at the local proshop)
