Cyborg RX bolt cap

Hi everyone

I am new to Cyborgs. I've been tuning my Cyborg RX, according to the tuning guide, but my bolt cap keeps popping open. Is this a common thing? What may be the cause of this?

By the anno wear, I would say that it has happened quite a few times before.

Advice would be much appreciated.

If I remember correctly there is a spring and ball detent in the bolt sleeve that should keep the bolt locked into place when the lever is all the way down against the body.

The spring and ball detent is still there and working (to some degree in any case).

Pull the spring out and stretch it so the detent has tension with your finger .

What exactly is the bolt cap? ShootnPoo it sounds like you are describing the detents in the eye system.

The bolt cap is the cap... for the bolt. Back part of the upper tube?

OOooohhhhhh I seemed to be having a foggy morning. Totally forgot about the little detent back there and thought they were talking about the eyes. I always called that part the bolt sleeve. Carry on haha

No their is a detent (ball) and spring in the bolt cap that holds the cap down into position.
