Just a suggestion, but check out MilSig's mag feed markers.

If you're gonna look at a RAP4 Marker, look at the T68's. .43 caliber paint is only a good idea if the field has/allows that paint. All fields shoot .68 caliber paint. Not .43, not .50. buy .68 caliber markers. It doesn't matter what efficiency you get out of it a .50 or .43 caliber marker won't cut it. Don't feed the hype.

As far as looking at different manufacturers, it depends on what you're going for. The Tiberius has a 12 gram sealed in the magazine with the paint, so air source adaptor isn't much of a worry.

what I gather from the T68 line is that they operate like a spyder but are magazine fed. I'm confident you have an idea of how efficient a spyder or spyder clone can be. Looks are great but in paintball, you'll be better served with something that can dump a lot of paint in the event you need it. Magazines are limited, and hopper adaptors defeat the purpose of a magazine fed system. What you use in speedball should more than suffice in scenario unless you're looking for the milsim gun. If that's the case, the T68's are as close as you're gonna get.

I just find it funny, I see people dressed up in camo and all, then look at they're gun, its blue or red, some loud *** color! Defeats the purpose of the camo!

I agree, but putting 12 lbs of equipment on a marker that doesn't utilize any of it doesn't make much sense either. Have you looked at the MTAC? Granted it's not magazine fed, so that realism isn't going to be there, but you can use a hopper that will support the speed the Marq based gun is capable of. The Tiberius markers are better off left as pistols IMO. They have a new T4 that shoots the first strike rounds. Looks good, but is limited to 14 rounds at a dollar a round. For the realism you're looking for though, the T68 is the latest and greatest.

if you are after a mag fed marker, id look at other options than rap4, my friend got the t68 and i think has maybe played one day with out it breaking or malfunctioning in some way. the magazines work great, but the gun itself needs too much work to just work properly.

MilSig are deffinetly a step up from RAP. If you go RAP, I'd only get a Gen5 and that is because the Gen5's were made for RAP by MilSig.

http://www.tacticalreplicas.com/ These are the US distributor for MilSig and they are very reputable to deal with. I've meet him as well as the CEO for MilSig. Both top notch guys. I am just chomping at the bit until I can get one ordered myself.

As far as Tiberius, if you thinking that way, the T9 Elite set up for the First Strike rounds might be something to look into.

I own a T9, which does happen to be an Elite model. Lucked out and got it used for a good deal. If I was buying new I certainly wouldn't get the Elite. I'd get one of the cheaper models. All the Elite name gets you is a bunch of accessories, most of which end up sitting in the case, or replaced eventually. Laser site? Never use it, sits in the case. Flashlight? I would be nifty for night games, but all the local night games banned flashlight use (some players with the right connections have night vision gear, and flashlights can damage them). The current scope has too strong of magnification, impractical for paintball. Mine was an older one that came with the red dot, replaced it with a 2x-8x adjustable scope when I added the First Strike kit. About the only thing from the Elite package I'm still using are the bi-pod, and the fake silencer, and the fake silencer will be replaced by springtime.

Better to get the cheap base model and add what you need, than to pay for it all and not use it.

Spyders are reliable and are pretty accurate and the fact that rap4 got their hand on the internal design they increased all specs making the marker even better.

Well, if you're looking for a true military simulation, a real gun doesn't hold 200 rounds, unlike what the movies depict.
Plus, the limit will add a new dynamic to the game.

Go with the RAP4 T68 Gen6
This is it below as we did a SWAT demo for 50 departments.
All 68cal and .43cal with shell ejection.
They are switching over to RAP4 for training markers instead of sim-rounds.
