only thing i dont understand is that i thought they based teams schedules from their performance the previous year...how is it that the Patriots have an easier schedule than most teams in the league while the Steelers have the most difficult schedule?..

Schedules rotate. Division A plays Division A twice, Division X and Division Y + 2 random games.
Other than the 2 random games, you pretty much know who you're playing >3 years before the season.

I'm feeling more confident after seeing both Mannings not doing as well, San Diego sucking, Tom Brady being injured......

Those 2 "random games" are against the teams that finished in the same place in their respective divisions form the same conference. For example, Pittsburgh finished first in the AFC North and are playing the entire AFC South. With those two out, they're playing the first place teams in the AFC West and AFC East. Say, if they came in 3rd, they'd play the 3rd place teams in those divisions.

I was disappointed to see Limas Sweed inactive for yesterday's game. Word has it he's pretty raw (to be expected from a Texas player) so he doesn't have a roster spot as of yet. The Texans were probably the easiest matchup of the season and I'm still a little worried about the O-line getting it done consistently this year. Oh, and if you haven't noticed LaMarr Woodley yet, he had a sack, fumble recovery, and an interception in his first career start. He's got a ton of potential.

Woodley is an animal...the offensive line i believe will be an issue for the Steelers this year...I believe Roethlisberger was knocked down more than any other QB in the league and that was with Faneca there!!!Hopefully though with Parker being healthy and the addition of Mendenhall, he wont have to drop back as much and return to classic Steelers form...

Double standard much?
I understand that. I just needed to prove a point.
And to be on topic, if Willie Parker stays healthy he's gonna dominate.

Ok, what ever floats your boat. And yes, Willie will be great if he doesnt get injured even if our line isn't the greatest. Watch out for Mendenhall too, he will have a good amount of yards if he holds onto the ball!

Now you do. That's why the Colts and Pats play each other every year, and theres so many crappy games (Rams vs Lions; Dolphins vs Raiders etc.) every year.

Brady is out and I'm over it, you're just missing my point. A lot of posters in here think a lot of Pats fans are classless *******s, so they generalize and claim all Boston fans are *******s, so when I post something like that, which is clearly a dickhead thing to do (sell those t-shirts), paintball8190 said not every Steelers fan feels that way, which I understand it's just that if a Pats fan site ever had a shirt like that, they would get torn apart over it, so there is clearly a double standard.

Which isn't helping your fan base reputation by coming in here and posting what you did...
I remember when Roethlisberger went through the windshield of a car there were jokes flying around everywhere about him...It happens, no need to get offended...
