dumb question, butttt the luxe barrel back is a "freak" right? i bought an all american barrel front that fits a freak buttt the threads dont match up to the stock luxe back....any insight on this?

It is technically a freak. I had a couple old freak fronts, one being all american and were interchangeable.

You can also purchase a DeadlyWinds carbon fiber front and will fit.

i seee, so is it possible freak could have changed up the threading on the tips recently? cuz the tip seems fairly new.

Nope they would never change the threading
Check the threads for debris or shavings indicating cross threading on both the tip and back

did smartparts make an AA tip for anything other than a freak back? i didnt think they did.....small issue but its still an issue cuz i spent my money on this think thinking it would fit

Force it in further, some of the aa/raindrop tips were like that. Try removing the oring

that did it, iwasint pressing that hard as to not strip the threads buttt thats all it needed. another question answered by the people of pbnation....THANKYOU!
