i had a bolt do that on one of my egos, but its cause the plunger wasn't tight enough to put enough tension on the pin

What do you guys think Vice vs Vic V1 vs Vic V2 for a backup? Maybe V1 SC'd would be bang for buck?

Lol well I mean they are a baby G6R and perform close to it and this is only really for a spare marker anyway. I'm leaning Victory tho just not sure which one to really consider. I like the V2 milling the best but looks like I'd be up in the $800-900 range?

Depends on what your motives of getting it is..

I want a solid backup option to my sweet baby G6R, always contemplated owning a Victory anyway, and the deal seems good enough that if I change my mind I can resell at minimal to no loss.

idk, for a backup i like to use older guns anyways since A. i dont have that much money just sitting there. B. theyre simpler and dont require all the dazzle that you need such as pressure testers. and if its a back up itll be a gun youre playing with for only 1 day or at least hope 1 day. your g6r should rarely go down anyways. i have a ego 6 for a back up. i would get a vic if i could but i dont have money lol

i think im gonna go find a marq for my ego 6 if i can lol. the ego 6 i know how to take the ego completely apart though and can reassemble in>10 mins

You have a really good point, but considering how badly I always wanted to try a victory before I just settled on the g6r, I feel like even if I sell it I won't take a big hit. Also wouldn't be the worst thing to have 2 top end BL's around. I would never need to buy a gun again as long as I live? Lol

It's probably not the most cost efficient back up you could get but it's going to be a great backup. For most people that could be their primary.

I have two mains, Luxe and G6R and a BL/ICD Defiant with a ton of upgrades and Euro Xmag as backups.

But I tend to grab the sniper if my first two go down for some odd reason

You'll like the Vic. I was shooting mine all day on Saturday. Other than the dip in Efficiency compared to the G6R, it's a smooth shooting beast. Played some games on turf on the NPPL DC field and then some recball...spot on. Vics are great set it and forget it guns.

That's good to hear. I use a 50/45 tank so I always value efficiency, but anything is going to blow away what my Geo2 did. I feel like I'm going to love the Vic because I always leaned toward spools mostly for the reason that with no front LPR I could hold the marker differently and it was more comfortable to me. The Vic has a big *** on it, but I'm also going to love the super easy tool-less maintenance on it.
