safe valve

Due to possibility of damaging of solenoid with overpressurazing (and with a bit bigger chance to do it coz of my Empire balanced sleeve I decided to make safe valve, which will release excessive pressure if goes over 100-120 psi.
here is draft of what i am talking about

May be you guys heard already about similar devices to not reinventing bicycle?
(please do not refer me to w.a.s. solenoid. yes - it can holds up to 220 psi, but my lpr housing will not! and can and will disconnects from barb, just like yesterday, thnx G-d it was not game time...)

thnx, guys!

yeah thats a good idea as long as it doesnt create a reduction in flow., and it cant be too large iether.

so the goes front the front block INSIDE the marker to the solenoid? And does it mount on there or does it dangle around? Where did you get those other parts?

BANZORD801 - it WILL work with any timmy, any EGO and numerous markers to safe of life of their solenoids (and gauges). and for me it is strange too no one done it before since cost to make this value 3-5$.

If you look around you may be able to find them that will drop into this application. Valves like these have been used since the late 90's on shockers, and later on they were put on impulses. Granted the design was different, it was the exact same principle; vent pressure before the noid can be damaged.

what happens is that sometimes people forget to put the oring on the back part of the volly, and basically bypassing the LPR altogether. Sometimes they dont seal up, sometimes it's the wrong design (they use a 2k2 on an alias)

I've seen more noids spiked by volly installations than anything else

if installed correctly, they do their job. But if they dont, your HPR is also now your LPR, ker-pow goes the noid!

pressure relief valve would make me feel alot better about installing those things, haha

keep up the good work. Make sure this thing doesnt restrict airflow, comes with all the parts needed to install (extra hose and barb, just in case they break one), and you might have yourself a winner

$20 relief valve is alot cheaper than a $70 noid

oh, yea, it makes sense! (and I forgot my 'making love' with verdikt lpr with spikes and leakage)))
Actually, it do not need to have good airflow, I mean i changed a bit design than on my picture. Now this valve have just one barb and will attached like appendix to lpt stream going into solenoid.
$20 sound good when I spent for details like $1 ))))))

Very nice. It would be a great safety item for my timmy. Let me know when you start selling them and I'll be the first one in line to grab one of these.

I think it's a great idea! As paintballer187 points out... you can probably buy a fitting from Clippard, or pneumodyne, or beswick, that you could fit 'relatively easily.

Cool idea.
