Just got another Vibe, time for a come back project.....
Well, I've recently bought a very cheap Vibe ($30, but broken) from someone here on the Nation. So, since I'm looking into ideas for this marker. I had one about a year and half ago and have had about 4 SP1's over the years.
Now, this marker didn't come with a board and is missing the front barb fitting. What I'm debating is whether or not to keep it electric or go mech. It would be cheaper to go mech and would be a better version then the new eNMey marker that GoG just put out (only cause its not a single trigger). So, what should it be??
Here's what I have for it so far:
Smart Parts Vibe
Shocktech Superfly Bolt
Planet Eclipse Etha OOPS On/Off w/ rail
Now! I'll open it up to the Nation for ideas and thoughts.

Unfortunately there isnt a ton of stuff you can do to the Vibe. As for your debate of electric or mech, i would stay electric (but thats just my opinion). You could hydrograph the shell, replace the trigger and feedneck, and replace the reg as well. Other than those things, and the things you already have new parts for, thats about it.

Got any places in mind for the hydrographing? I'm thinking of just doing the body, since I like the black look. Redz makes a nice body kit for the Ion and I like the look of the grips and reg cover. I'm going to keep the Vibe a fun marker and surprise a few at the local fields.

The whole kit won't fit, but the grips and front reg cover do (I'm switching to an ion reg). It's something different and would look cool (price for the whole kit is like $14 shipped new).

I don't mind the suggestions or ideas. Looks nice, how much did you spend on the hydrographic paint? If they don't charge so much, I'd like to do something to the body and breech.

I'm actually sponsored by a company, so my prices vary. How ever it doesn't cost that much depending how many parts you send and such. As far as hydroing the breech, don't, cause you won't get it back in the body.
Hydrographing adds thickness to parts. That's why when you send in the body and frame you have to know what will be cropped and what won't.
It would be better to have the breech reanodized, or find one in a different color.
Look at my pics and see what needs to be cropped off if you go this route. If you need help let me know.

If you want a good sleeper, have the stock barrel freak bored. They shoot real nice when freak bored. There is so much you can do with the VIBE/ENVY, just let your imagination run wild.
I had the gun colored in this way due to Calif law or future law about air guns. Something about they are suppose to be a certain color. So I made this one strictly for Calif travel.
If you need any help, feel free to email me here or on MCB. Also if you go back into my gun project pages, you'll see the first VIBE I ever did that came from SC Village.

I would swap back the regs. I'm told the stock reg is the same as the LUX. It's never failed me. If not what are you looking to trade for the old stock reg?

The only reason I went to the Ion reg was for the Redz kit I got. I would also have to find a good design for the body, but might just anno the breech an olive color to go with the the grips. But it's a work in progress and I'll worry more about it after collecting all the parts I need to complete.

Well, I gave the Vibe to my nephew and is vey happy with it. Granted he didn't like the colors I picked, so we changed it. It's going to be black and blue, but he's loving his new marker
What's done so far:

I would, but I'm giving it to my nephew. I'm currently working on an Ion XE and Azodin Kaos.

Well, I'm not giving it to my nephew after all. Got a killer deal on a Ion XE and gave him that one instead. So, back to the drawing board with the Vibe. But I do have a direction for it. I'll keep you guys posted as I'm gathering parts for it.
Got a stock SF board that I'm not going to be using. Anyone looking for one? PM me...
