Well, all I can say to that is not everything is meant for everyone. However, everyone that has had the opportunity to shoot it ABSOLUTELY loves it. What's not to love - a marker that is light, accurate & compact. Waiting to get my hands on those new Tiberius rounds, to really test the "down-range" accuracy of this marker.

I think it was so if warcowboy made it big and tried to pull a SP he couldn't. Damon can't pull a SP on warcowboy with a provisional patent anyways.
I always liked the bullpup design, especially with q-loaders or underfeed box-mags. How wide is the back bottom of the p90 shell in comparison to a halo feed cup? Maybe a loader could be hidden inside the body too.

Haha, the whole patent deal over mods is ridiculous to me anyhow.
I'm certainly not afraid of the idea behind it, because I could just produce things from China if it came to that.
I want to make things here in the US, but if patents stop me here, they won't else where.
Besides, if anyone was to produce a P90 shell replica outside of China, FN would sue the living hell out of them without license rights to begin with.
The things I have ideas for that can actually be patented is safe inside my head.
I have given away a few things to people, but not the real money makers.
Contrary to their beliefs about it.
I invent many many things besides stuff for the paintball world.
Its just a matter of time before I hit on something large scale.
I don't worry about it either. If I don't I don't, but I know I can.
With all that being said, I wish Damon much luck.
I watched Scenario dreams for a long while now and I am a fan of his work personally.
I hope he succeed at what ever he does in the paintball industry.
Its a dog eat dog world, and it waits on no one.

As I've stated in the past, my provisional application was to protect myself, not to prevent others from doing P90 conversions. I believe in Market competition. But to comment in WArcowboys statement, "I could just produce things from China". Be careful. Even though you have something made in China, doesn't mean you will be able to SELL the product domestically. Example, if you had china copy an ION exactly, you would be sued by Smart PArts if you started to sell them in the US. It doesn't matter where you make them, it matters where you sell them....
And I'll be honest with you Warcowboy, I've always thought you made better looking P90s with your paint jobs. Very nice and clean work. Good luck to you from a fellow inventor

Yeah, I was just being sarcastic really.
But you have to wonder how those airsoft replicas get away with it, when they are sold here in the states.
I guess only law suits pertain to those who live here huh...
I understood what you meant with the patent deal though, I was hoping you would reply...
And thanks for your appreciation for my custom painting.
Curious though... Have you looked into making anything custom "board wise" for the SP1?
I feel that besides the fact it don't have feed neck treads, that design would cater really well to the milsim custom.
I mean with an anti chop bolt, BOB and horizontal board, it makes one think of how perfect it would be for a base platform for something that feeds inverted. Eyes are something that has always gotten in the way of under feed designs. Also its nice that the SP1 can use Co2.
Combo'd with a pressure sensitive loader such as the pulse, it would work out nicely with the anti chop bolt.

Yeah, I've got a design complete for the SP1, but don't have an ETA for when/if I will be releasing commercially. The board market is still pretty weak and initial manufacturing costs are pretty high right now... But I agree that the SP1 is a solid marker and definately milsim ready.

Hells Yeah!

Damon, did you raise your price on theP-90 conversion for any particular reason? I noticed that it doesnt seem like you allow people to provide their own ions for parts. Is that why the price went up?

Man warcowboy, I remember when you showed off your first P90 on the SpecOps forums. It was sick then, and they're sick now.
