Him having to get BT as a top really sucks in the bruiser meta. As a mid (carry) he can rush BT like he is supposed to rather than spending the 1k gold on the GB

I don't think switching from mid to top should really differ too much. Either way you're not going to have a diving jayce, so you can still play to his strengths. If you're going to make a poke comp, I don't see why you need to send the jayce mid for the fact that his build is "better there"

He's better with a carry build than with a bruiser build. Playing top lane would force him to build bruiser, or get **** on, while playing mid lane would allow a Jayce to build as a carry.

Edit: ultimately you can build whoever, however you want. I was just saying what I, and a lot of other people, think about Jayce.

He is sent mid for that build so that his goal isn't just make it through laning phase. In mid he can actually get kills by killing squishy mids or by roaming bot. In top against a bruiser he's not gonna get a kill once they have a giants belt.

He isn't as strong as he used to be top lane since a lot of tops are either as strong in lane as him (Elise) or beat him with gap closers (Renekton).

i agree he's better with a carry type build, but he also has a good range and an amazing ability to kite and farm for range so its not like he is completely useless if you were to go glass cannon/carry build. Its the same thing with having someone like a teemo top whose very squishy but can atleast hold onto the laning phase; and i think we can all agree teemo isnt as good of laner than jayce is.

not being as strong doesnt mean he is not viable. I'm not denying he's better in mid, I'm just saying you arent forced into one lane with one build

Teemo is a way better laner than jayce, he just doesnt have any real team fight presence, plus if you play teemo, and he is squishy, you are doing it wrong.

straight ap teemo is **** though, all you need is liandry's and malady and you are set for ap, but yea straight ap is more common

in certain matchups, but if hes against a range then it normally will turn into a farm lane until ganks. against melees teemo is certainly stronger though

started this league system on a slide ~900 elo and in bronze V. lost only 2 games that weren't in the placement matches (in bronze I) since. woot

is anyone kind of getting tired of how the meta's been going?
start of season 3 was stack cleavers, then it was stack warmogs, now its stack blade of the rune king. its just getting annoying to have cycles of items like this.

The only one that was actually stackable was clever. I actually love the meta shifts
OP offensive item > OP defensive item > OP offensive item. I think botrk is pretty balanced noobs jus need to start building randuins instead of warmogs. Also as a jungle main it has made one of my favorite junglers, nocturne, super strong. Solo dragon with botrk losing no health.
